Trying to live each day well. Yesterday we enjoyed a wonderful lunch with most of the family at Olive Garden. Then an afternoon of hiking while R ride her new bike followed by hotdogs and marshmallows over a fire. And then juicing almost all fruit and veggies in frig. Then a short quiet time this morning. Still a long way to go! But a start.

Personal journeys
Some are journeys that you can experience with others like your senior year, summer camp or serving together on a committee. Then there are journeys that are meant too be lived, experienced and conquered personally and alone. Like a journey to healthy living, which includes, weightloss, education in healthy living and a searching for one's inner strength. There's a spiritual journey where you evaluate your personal relationship with God, The Savior, and the Holy Spirit. On this one you are searching for truths as well as having truths revealed to you about yourself, this world, how to navigate this world, the next world to come, other people, etc. The journey where you discover what you stand for and what you don't. What YOU count as important and not important. These different personal journeys determine YOUR life story. Your husband and children and family are PART of this life story, but you still have your OWN life story. The story of you and your life, how you lived, how you perceived this life, how others perceived you.
So for me there is the
health journey
Lose weight
Using nontoxic products
Contributing to my good health
Spiritual journey
Starting a consistent quiet time
Being in constant contact with God
Being a blessing to others
Eph 4:29
Memorize scripture
Intentional living journey
Growing our own food
Buying organic
Purposefully planning out my day
Purposefully planning out my homeschool day
So far I think these are my current goals. We are fixing to start a new year and I want to know what direction I want to go this year. I want too take charge of my life. Sometimes I think you can kind of fall in with someone else, like your husband, and then before you know it you aren't setting personal goals for yourself, you are just kind of going along day after day with someone else and there isn't any real sense of personal accomplishment.
